In the world of media formats, there are a lot of players available on the market. Most of them promise a lot of features, but sadly, many of them aren't compatible with the multitude of media formats available, offering support for a few of them. In this case, the user will need to install a separate player for each group of media formats. Or he could only install Passion Audio Player, a Windows application which offers support for almost any media file format available on the market.

As it's a Windows application, it has a typical Windows-like installation wizard, which can be completed very fast. Besides that, it requires less resources than other media players, an average computer with a sound card and a pear of speakers being enough for running the program in best conditions.

After installing Passion Audio Player, the user will surely notice the large number of windows available on the screen. These windows allow controlling the playback of media files, creating and editing playlists, viewing the contents of a video file and even storing a list of audio CDs.

Users can add media files to the playlist using a single click. By selecting more files at the same time, they will be able to add them all to the playlist. During playback, the visual screen displays a spectrum of the audio file or the contents of the video file. The program is compatible with most audio and video formats available on the market and can even import playlists which are created with other similar applications.

A complex equalizer is also available, allowing the user to correct a badly recorded song, by fine tuning its frequencies. Passion Audio Player is compatible with most DSP and visual plugins and it also supports skins. There are only two skins available initially, but the user can add more by downloading them from the program's website. Furthermore, there is a recording feature available, which supports various audio sources, like the microphone, line-in or a playing audio or video file.

Pros:
It supports numerous video and audio formats and allows adding several of them into the playlist at the same time. Besides that, it features a complex equalizer for fine tuning frequencies. Furthermore, the interface supports various skins and even plugins.

Cons:
The options section of the program may require some accommodation time, as it includes a large list of features.
